Purchasing a copy of the rulebook is a great place to start if you're looking to be involved. You can buy an e-book version here, or purchase one from our website to pick up at the event.
To understand the campaign setting, grab a copy of the official Player's Guide, A Traveler's Guide to Kosmara, and learn all about the races and politics of our game world.
Create a character, volunteer to help out, donate items, call and ask for more info - above all else, don't be shy!
If you want to put together a character and come play the game, feel free to contact us for advice, brainstorming, costume ideas, vendor suggestions for buying props/garb, etc.
You'll also want to read the policies page to make sure you understand the rules for playing at Alliance Crossroads.
To come to an event, you'll need to:
1. Read the rulebook.
2. Decide whether you are going to PC (play your own character) or NPC (be part of the team that makes the event fun!).
3. Pre-Register for PCing or NPCing so we make sure we can accommodate you. You'll need to pay membership whether you PC or NPC, and if you're PCing you also need to pay the event cost and contact logistics to write up a character. All first-time PCs are also automatically enrolled in our "Wayfarer's Company" - you can read more about this by visiting the New Players section.
4. Read the Crossroads Player's Guide if possible. You can get a copy of the Player's Guide here.
5. Make sure to pack appropriately, and get ready for your first event!
