LARP - or Live Action Role-Playing - is an interactive experience in which the players (characters) and the volunteer staff (non-player characters) together create a story by enacting it in real-time. Alliance LARP, the game played at Alliance Crossroads, is a Live Action Role-Playing game that mixes elements of high fantasy (think Lord of the Rings) with traditional story-telling, improvisational theatre, and safe combat with foam-covered boffer weapons.
